Working principle of pneumatic brake (brake) of Nangong flat trailer
Steam brake (braking) is divided into single chamber brake chamber and double chamber brake chamber, which are used to generate braking force for wheels. The diaphragm part is used for service braking, and the spring part is used for auxiliary and parking braking.
Working principle of single chamber brake chamber:
the pressure from the air chamber acts on the diaphragm, and the diaphragm and piston move to the right. The piston is transmitted to the brake rod (clearance adjusting arm) through the push rod, and then to the brake. When the brake chamber is vented, the spring returns the piston and diaphragm to their original position. The acting force of the diaphragm air chamber depends on the acting force of the diaphragm and the effective acting area of the diaphragm. The effective area of the diaphragm varies with the bending amount of the diaphragm.
Working principle of dual chamber brake chamber:
During the service braking, the compressed air enters the first chamber through the air inlet and acts on the diaphragm to overcome the compression spring moving to the right. The braking force generated acts on the clearance adjustment arm to brake the wheels. When the pressure of the first chamber decreases, the compression spring pushes the diaphragm and push disc back. When parking and braking, when the pressure in the second chamber is fully or partially deflated, the compression spring makes the wheels brake through the piston and push rod. When there is no pressure in the second chamber, the braking force is maximum. Since the braking force comes from the mechanical braking, that is, the compression spring force, the spring chamber can be used for parking braking. When the brake is released, the pressure of the second chamber increases through the other port. Mechanical release mechanism: In case of emergency, the double chamber air chamber has a mechanical release device for the spring chamber. In case the pressure of the other port is zero, unscrew the screw with a wrench to release the parking brake.
Structure comparison:
compared with single chamber brake chamber, double chamber brake chamber has an air reservoir to avoid asynchronous braking of the brake pump of the tractor and trailer. Spring brake chamber, which can brake when parking.
